Bob Goes Shopping

Believe it or not, this is my first experience outside of N America. I have found Kampala to be an amazing city. Gaining its independence from England in 1962, they have adopted English as their national language. We have enjoyed conversations with our driver George and others as we have struck up conversations.

Went to an outdoor market today and Gloria would be proud of me. I didn’t pay list price for anything. As tourists we were expecting to find a lot of products made in Africa, but a fair amount were made from outside the country. We bought enough trinkets so we’ll need to schlep(Monday’s word of the day) them from location to location.
